More Soap Loaves

Busy days here at Casa Gracefruit. I've been working on quite a few wholesale orders and getting ready for two upcoming markets. Top that with yoghurt making, jam making, and bread baking. I could really do with a few more hours in the day!

Did I mention that we got chickens? Two laying hens who aren't laying just yet, but should start sometime in September.

You busy girl! Some pretty soap loaves again.

So pretty! I've been working on pretty tops....need to work on it some more! LoL! Do you sell the loaves whole or slice them first? I've been curious how long you'd have to cure a whole loaf...

Thank you, Saara. I've been running mad lately, but enjoying every minute. :)

Elizabeth, thank you! I do a very deep water discount when I make my soap loaves, so they're ready to go pretty quickly.
I must order more wasabi liquid soap. I love that stuff, and so do my kids. It's nice not to have to hound them to wash their hands.

What pretty tops on those loaves! I've been making yogurt regularly too...not sure if it's the same type you make. Mine is pretty easy because I use an electric machine that keeps it warm all night.

Congrats on your chickens! You'll love them. We just got a bunch of new chicks, but they're all males. They'll be ready for culling in November.

Stunning soaps! They are always so inspirational. If I can get done with my canning I'm going to try my hand at pretty tops too. = )

Thank you, Heidi! Canning is just as much fun as soap. I've just learned how to do this and it's a blast.

Teresa, we are chicken mad in this house. The kids love our new girls.

The yoghurt maker we use isn't mechanical. You put boiling water inside a cylinder and then another cylinder containing the yoghurt ingredients inside of that. You leave it over night and in the morning you have yoghurt. It's completely faff-free! :)

Very pretty Elizabeth as usual. Little works of art those are.

Thanks, Joy! Hope you're well and dry. I understand you got some horrible weather yesterday and last night. :(
