I was tagged by the lovely Heather at Twinbirch. So here goes!
1) Link to the person who tagged you
2) Post the rules on your blog (this is what you are now reading)
3) Write 6 random things about yourself (see below)
4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them (This is only a game)
5) Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog
6) Let the tagger know when your entry is up
Random things:
1) I'm not Scottish, which might be obvious to some. :) I'm from Alabama and moved to Scotland seven years ago.
2) Sound effects are a speciality of mine. I can do bird calls, a dripping tap, and make my stomach growl on demand.
3) I used to be a children's etiquette teacher.
4) My favourite food is fried okra.
5) I've lived in the US, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Spain, and the UK.
6) I enjoy sci-fi. My favourite show at the moment is Battlestar Galatica.
I think everyone I know has been tagged, but if you'd like to play along, please do!

LOL...can you teach me how to make my stomach NOT growl on demand?
So you like okra? Man, I wish you lived near us last year. We grew okra; had it coming out of our ears, and ended up composting most of it because 1) we couldn't keep up, and 2) I'm the only one in the family that's fond of it.
I love sci fi too. I need to try the new BG. I grew up with the cheesy one from the 70s (had a crush on Dirk Benedict even).
I can't be the only one who noticed the irony of #3 immediately following #2!
Can I ask why you moved to Scotland? How did you find the transition? (My husband will be pursuing his PhD and a move from Canada to the UK may be in the cards.) Thanks! :)
Teresa, I love okra. I even eat it boiled into slime! Do give the new Battlestar Galatica a go. It's completely different than the 70s series. The guy who played Starbuck in the original is in the new one, but as a completely different character. The new Starbuck is a girl!
Sherrie, my husband is Scottish. I don't think you'd suffer too much culture shock from Canada to the UK. The weather isn't as nice, though!
I have to add to the moving from Canada to the UK thought that if you are from Vancouver, you'd find the weather pretty much the same...cool and lots of rain. ;)
I've heard that Starbuck is now a woman! LOL! I'll put them on Netflix and catch up this winter when we have time to watch tv.
Teresa, let me know if you become a BG geek like me!
