My daughter is quite the artist! And the cartoon in my new banner is her interpretation of me popping soap bubbles. Thank you, H!
Today we tested several new micas. Why didn't anyone ever tell me how much fun they are? We made lipstick and two eyeshadows, and now I'm keen to try mineral makeup. Of course, I'll get tips from my friend Sally. She's an expert on the subject.

What a fun header! Tell your daughter that she did a fantastic job. :)
Your daughter's drawing is great! I love it. :)
It looks fantastic. I like the bubbles very much.
Thank you, Sherrie! I know she'll be chuffed to hear this.
Amber, thank you! I have no idea where she gets this talent. None of us can draw a straight line but her.
Gabi, we went through your flickr account today, photo by photo. I think you will appear as a cartoon very soon. :) And thank you for your help with the design. xx
Ha! That's MEGA!
cute!!
mica's totally rock :)
That's fabulous - I'm so impressed and it sounds like the experimenting was fun. The best I would get from my boys is a grubby fingerprint. Although yesterday the baby helped with my look by adding mushed up rusk to my hair!
Hi Susan! I will tell H you said so. :)
Misty, thank you! I am loving mica.
Ellen! Hey! I hear mushed up rusk is ideal for hair. ;)
Your daughter is so talented and I adore the new header. I've been lurking on this blog for awhile and love the new look when I came on today. Your mica experimenting sounds like fun.
But please don't take that.
FooFoo, thanks for saying hi! Your blog is a lot of fun. I had a peek today.
Gabi, that one is our favourite!
How very cool that your daughter did your new banner! She sure has talent. She is as creative as her mom, I can tell. :)
Love the new banner, how cool is that?
Thank you, Teresa! Miss H has about 80% of the creative DNA in this house. :)
Thanks Liz! I think I'm quite fetching as a cartoon. Hee!
Thanks for the compliment. I feel like I want to talk about soap non stop so try to mix it up a bit.
Foo, I remember that! When I first began making soap, I was so obsessed I talked about it in my sleep.
