I shipped a few soap loaves to one of my regular wholesale customers today, and I was sad to see them go. I suppose it's a bit weird to get attached to loaves of soap, but I do!

When they look like THAT, I can't imagine NOT getting attached. They're really lovely, especially the one second from the bottom. I assume the blue/white one is French Laundry - what are the others?
They are gorgeous. On a side note, how do you get your soaps so smooth on the sides? If it is trade secrets I completely understand if you do not want to give up the goods :)
Those soaps are so pretty! I'd miss them, too! Can you imagine the joy that they give to the people who end up with them?! Just picture them all sudsy and happy! I know I would be! :)
You're like a soapmaking rock star = ) I feel like a groupie, haha...
These soaps are amazing and inspiring! Thanks for posting the goodies on my blog...or maybe not. I want to binge on anything and everything sweet now = )
Aw, thank you Heidi! Aren't Landa's things beautiful? Thank goodness my husband makes tablet, or I'd be out roaming the streets looking for sweets. I have a sweet tooth from hell.

AAaawww...I can!! You put a lot of love and inspiration in them, it is always hard to part with something like that. They look awesome!
Not weird! Not weird!
They will all be going to good homes, I am sure :)
Your soaps look just beautiful.
Thank you so much, everyone.
I use upland molds for my soaps. They have silicon liners and give a really smooth finish to the sides and underside of the loaves.
They are very beautiful. Pictures are amazing that way. They bring you right back to the beauty of it. Well done, Elizabeth.
Thanks, Joanna. Just a little something to remember them. I used to photograph every single batch, but I've learned to let go a bit. :)

Heather, I'll try to keep that in my head. I'm an old cynic. :)

Michelle, it's such a relief that I'm not the only one. I don't feel quite so sad now. :)
