NORAD tracks Santa

Every year, NORAD (North American Areospace Defence Command) tracks Santa as he leaves the North Pole and travels around the world delivering gifts to good boys and girls. It's a tradition in our house to follow Santa's progress, and we always know when it's bedtime on Christmas Eve because NORAD gives us the heads up that Santa is close by.

The NORAD Tracks Santa site also has games for kids, information on Santa, and a countdown page so you can keep up with how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds are left until Santa makes his annual trip. If you have Google Earth, you can follow Santa's progress there as well. NORAD is providing a special program that will allow you to track Santa on Google Earth in 3D!

This would be really fun if my kids believed in Santa. ;)

Only one of mine does (I think -- he might be pretending for my sake).

That is so cool! I think we'll do the same thing this year = ) Thanks for the heads up!

Heidi, it's an excellent tool for getting kids to bed on time. :)
